The Strategic Edge
While we'd love to take the credit for inventing integrated tax strategies, the original architects are all in Ottawa. We would never be brash enough to suggest we could design a program that would have Canadians willingly cough up a tax rate in excess of 150% like they did for a tank of gas. By the time you have paid income tax, excise tax, PST and GST on both the gas and on the other tax, well, you get the picture.
At Strategic Edge, we embrace the Declaration of Taxpayer's Rights, understand the Tax Act, and develop and implement integrated tax strategies. We do exactly what Ottawa does, except in reverse, and our goal is exactly the opposite; we want to put more money back into the pockets of our clients.
